W-43

This is the historic Woodward's Building constructed in 1903 for the Woodward's Department Store. The store was famous for its Christmas window displays. and the "W" sign at the top of the building was a distinctive landmark on the Vancouver skyline. It's history makes for fascinating reading. Woodwards is now a mix of a residential and commercial spaces. (Had to lie on the ground for this shot :)
