Iceland's south shore is quite scenic and dramatic and is definitely my favourite. There's a feeling of remoteness and great splendour at the same time. Dyrhólaey has a 400 foot high raised mass of land that projects out into the water, not far from Vík. Breathtaking views can be had on all sides.

Fav. Iceland in b&W looks wonderfully amazing. And you bring out all its beauty with your photos. There is a trail on one side of the Salini Salt Pans, only some wire netting separates both. But the birds keep to the middle walls so you have to have a good zoom camera to capture them really well. There are watchers' huts along the way for bird watchers. I intend to go again, when birds migrate from North to South and they stop to rest on our Islands.
