This is posted for David ( @yrhenwr ).It's the Gower Peninsula, Wales. I holidayed here often when I was a kid, and we went back in 2009 for a lovely holiday.
Thank you David - that is wonderful! Perfectly composed. Yes it's a beautiful place but the way you have communicated that is great. Re. 'the Welsh thing', I'm not sure what you meant so I tried to make a neutral comment, but with Anglo-Welsh relations that is always difficult! I mean I could have replied, for example, 'when England colonised Wales in the 13th century they were only practising' but I don't want to open hostilities! :-)
Ah, I love Wales! Fell in love with it back in 2007, when I spent a couple of weeks there traveling around. Didn't see this place, though. Looks gorgeous. I love the serenity of the shot.
