night junction by peadar

night junction

Another Blackheath shot - this was originally destined to be my main project shot for today, but in the end I preferred the (unplanned) shot of All Saints' Church that can be found here:-

This is a very busy junction on the old Roman road that comes from Dover, on the Kent Coast, right into London. There is lots of history associated with this road and Blackheath, from the Peasants' Revolt of 1381, through the Civil War of the late 1640's, to more recent times where it is the starting place for the London Marathon.

Really sorry - but better viewed large!!!

One for the Extras album!
You really get the nicest light flare star thingies in your night shots. (See, it's too late in the evening for technical vocabulary, hahah!)

Really nice long exposure shot. And like Johanna @joa I also like the light flare thingies =)

This is a good night shot, but I agree with you, the shot of All Saints; Church really is wonderful.
