Wow, fabulous. Brought back memories of our RAF days. The Red Arrows used to come to RAF Valley occasionally to use the aircraft there if any of their own aircraft were U/S and they came to Cyprus in February each year too to practice their routines for the summer season. I did! Vigili is the common name for polizia municipale. you don't say: "Where is the polizia municipale?" you say" but where are the Vigili?" It comes from the verb vigilare, same origin as vigilant
By the way Peadar, inwhich city were the two Vigili? My husband and I are betting on different options
