Meant in the literal sense, of course, "until we see again". The good news from this tragedy is that quite a lot of the infrastructure remains intact. If we can rebuild the cathedral at Ypres from rubble, then I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing the spire at Notre Dame again in a few years time. Thank God there were no lives lost.
Just watching the news ~ such a shock. Thankful that some treasures have been saved and the stone structure remains. Your b&w shows it all in it's majesty as it was. It will rise again.
