Birds Need Fed

We had 2 inches of heavy wet snow overnight. Looks pretty but it was a chore to clear the driveway and deck.

My title for this photo is in keeping with our Western Pennsylvania / Pittsburgh dialect. If I used proper English the title would be: "The Birds Need to be Fed." We seem to have no use for the verb "to be". If Hamlet were performed here his famous line would be "...or not". No one here would think something was missing.

Pittsburghese can be cringe worthy at times.
