Ruby does a 'Miss Snooty' impression

Our new little rescue dog Ruby will appear quite a bit in my 365 !

Here she is in our garden doing what can only be described as he 'snooty' pose !!

I feel a bit guilty saying 'snooty pose' as she is currently sitting next to me doing a 'I'm you bessie mate' moment as she sleeps on my lap (making it difficult to type)

This is SOOC on quite a long zoom, but I do like her pose and her alert ears listening to everything that is going on in the garden !!

The whites in her chest are a little blown out, but the light was bright and the zoom long, so that is to be expected. The blacks seem to have a lot of detail.
She poses very nicely :)

Yes - there she is, ears alert, ready to protect hearth and home from cats, birds, post people and other menaces! Lovely to see a happy dog after that kennel trauma.

She is beautiful, I could just kiss those ears. (now you can imagine what my Holly has to put up with!)

@judithg Thanks Judith, she is a rather friendly dog to humans, she rarely barks at visitors or strangers.......she just wants to say hello and have a nice 'fuss' with them :)

@meredithwb Thank you Meredith :) I think 'good girl' is stretching it a bit....maybe 'cheeky girl' / 'mischievous girl' :)
May 10th, 2011
@phil_howcroft Ha ha...what does "cheeky" mean, exactly? Smart-aleck?
May 10th, 2011
@sleepdozer57 Aye Peter, she is a lovely little whippet :)
May 10th, 2011
@meredithwb Merdith, I think it may be a UK term - cheeky - slightly naughty in a nice way is probably the best way to describe cheeky :)...a bit naughty but you cannot get cross with her
May 10th, 2011
She has the most remarkable flexible ears. I love her alert pose. She will bring you such joy in the coming years.
