A single sweet pea flower head shot with my 'big camera' :)

I've done a few flowers recently, because.......well because there are a lot of flowers in our garden !

Hand held, aperture priority, I've tweaked the colours / saturation slightly in post processing.

Not too sure if the random bug in top left hand corner is a distraction.

Ah, one of my fave flowers .. lovely (and unusual) to see one flower head in isolation :o)

Btw, was just peering intently, looking for the bug in the top left corner - guess you meant bud? I think I might have been tempted to crop the pic to cut it out, but it's not a big distraction.

I think I would have been tempted to leave that out but it is in such lovely focus that it looks good anyway ! I particularly like the grey background as it shows the sweet pea off to perfection !

Lovely - but I have to laugh I have just spent quite a while trying to see a bug in the top left, even the spyglass did not shed light upon it - it has occured to me that it may be a typo and you meant bud not bug there is certainly one of those in the top left!! It doesn't detract as it makes a diagonal with the three elements and odds are always good in photos, better than evens!

Don't mind the top left bit at all. It balances the composition. This is a lovely shot. Like how you composed it and the contrasts in colours.
