Smiling Whippet

I cut the grass for the first time this year.

Obviously the smell of newly cut grass was too much of a temptation to resist for a little black whippet.

First she took Jane's slipper in the garden....not allowed...then took my trainers ...not allowed...then took a fluffy ....allowwed.

I shot this on the 'sports setting' on my 450D and it's had a bit of a crop. Even at 1/400 th of a second Ruby is a tad too quick to be completely frozen sharp (plus it was dull and grey).

Our garden is on a slope, hence Ruby running at almost 45 degrees to the vertical.

Not the best of action shots, but it does show a happy whippet.

Love it 😍 you have captured the whippet love of speed so brilliantly here. David had my steel capped work boots today shakes them like a dead rabbit he's caught and despatched. Heck of a strong neck they weigh a ton! Trainers got a drubbing too! Lol don't you just love their mischievousness and elegance :-)
