Hoverfly on Lavender

I was chasing bees and hoverflys around the garden this afterrnoon.

I'd have preferred a bee to be my best picture, but the hoverfly turned out best.

Sot on my 200-300mm Sigma, which has a macro setting switch to utilise.

Fabulous eyes don't you think :)
