Verticals, Horizontals and a Gentleman

Verticals, Horizontals and a passing gentleman in Fletcher Gate Nottingham

I did wonder about going even more letterbox than it already is by cropping horizontally just under the tree, but then I would loose the diagonal lead in lines.

Edited in Rawtherapee , cropped as you can see
Sharp shot

You did right not to crop Phil would have choped off the building on the right too much. I like all the shapes & the finishing touch are the circles!

Love the neat lines, Phil. The gentleman adds life to the shot. Well done.

Love all the symmetry and agree the shot is cropped enough. A strange effect: my eye was putting in a circle in the square just in front of your pedestrian..... (Like one of those after-effects when you look at something!)
