50 mono portraits at 50mm : No. 42 : Thekla by phil_howcroft

50 mono portraits at 50mm : No. 42 : Thekla

My 2nd portrait from the Arnold and District Camera CLub visit to Kelham Hall In Newark.

This is Thekla who was one of the models who came to the event.

Edited in Rawtherapee with a film emulation of Kodak TRI-X 400

I think this portrait is more natural and less 'posed for' than the the previous model shot (no. 41 in the series)

Beautiful girl and beautiful light! The skin tones are admirable

I prefer the tonal variations in Nicole's portrait but this one has the magic catchlights in the eyes. Also agree about the more relaxed, spontaneous feeling to this. Both are pleasing portraits and work well in mono, as always.
