Bakewell Show : Calf and Handler

We went to the Bakewell Show today (Thursday).

An agricultural show in the heart of the Peak District.

It was our first ever visit to the show and both Jane and myself agreed it was a good day out

We took a picnic, watched the animals and visited the many stalls.

This is a calf and its young handler.

@gamelee yes you are right lee, i got one with all her face , but had a bit of the calfs ear cropped out

I partly agree with the face issue but also think it fits with her youth.......can't explain what I mean in words but maybe you can understand anyway.

Velvety looking calf - I'm guessing it's a Holstein. Wonder if I could get to Bakewell and back in a day - sounds like a lovely day out.

Perhaps you got the ag show bug now Phil....always a great photo op & on a sunny dY it's a pleasant way to spend a day. Love this....such a proud moment for her....I remember Alex doing the same although she was a little older. Fave for me for the memories...& the photo,of course!
