Ruby our little whippet wearing my Bolton Wanderers Woolie Hat.
Football supporters have a song they sing to who they consider to be an unexpected supporter e.g an opposition player who scores an own goal , or somebody who has a soft spot for the club...
Ruby is a Wanderer
Ruby is a Wanderer
Nah Nah Nah Nah
Nah Nah Nah Nah
(to the tune lets all do a conga)
Anyway, if she was a Wanderer she would know it is still troubled times for the club. Our HMRC winding up order has been deferred until 22 Feb 2016, nobody wants to buy us, our owner has pulled the plug on funding us and he has somehow got our accounts and ultimate ownership in offshore accounting companies in the British Virgin Islands. What a mess and our owner seems to have ignored due diligence in managing the proud club.
In fact she probably does know all the above because I tell her and she probably is a Wanderer because I discuss the football with her !
Such soulful eyes and she looks hunkered down against the weather as well as against bad news from Bolton Wanderers. So sorry it is all going from bad to worse for your football club. Perhaps a last-minute saviour will appear.
Haha Ruby looks great as a Bolton Wanderers supporter. Pity she can't buy the club and keep it going. Since I got interested in Stoke City (remember my friend in Gozo) and of the Wanderers thanks to you I check on the Football League results almost every week. Hope things are sorted out and that your club can get going again.
