A Football Smile

There's a football song that football fans sing, the words of which are changed depending upon the club and location. The words of which go ...

All the lads and lassies and all the smiling faces
Walking down the Oxton Road
To see the Arnold Aces !!

Well in this case all the lads and lasses were probably going to see the Notts County Aces as it was the attraction of Notts County that drew a larger than average crowd to Eagle Valley the home of Arnold Twon

Edited in Rawtherapee, with an Agfa APX 25 film emulation.

Football The Beautiful Game
Great image Phil!

Interesting to see all the reactions and then my eye is drawn to the little lad sitting on the ground.

Nice b&w but looks like the guy with his hands on his face wasn't very happy. His team must have lost. LOL

Ah yes, but the original is the Geordie song 'The Blaydon Races' and they go down the Scotswood Road! Great shot though and it really suits B&W.
