I'm only familiar with the old trams seen in museums so it's interesting to see the modern versions.
Presumably that's the face of the driver I can see? Whoever he is, it looks as if he may have spotted you.

@dulciknit thanks allison, this is the 2nd design of tram on the nottingham network, the first set are not quite as sleek as this. they are really good to photograph, they are ever so quite too. This is the back of the tram, so the person peeking over the window is a passenger :)
@phil_howcroft Ah, having had another look I can see what I think may be the driver's seat for when it's going the other way? Like the old ones could be driven in either direction and had controls at both ends?
@dulciknit yes controls at both ends, i photographed theback as it has side lights rather than headlights, which burn out in a photo like this :) thanks for all your support :)
