I am surprised at the DOF at F1.8
FYI : A Deliveroo is a company that uses bicycle riders to deliver fast food from restaurants to the customers home. Part of what we call the gig economy.
I like the dof in this one. F1.8 has worked perfectly in this shot. A nice taste of Nottingham life you have captured. People often walk across streets absorbed with their mobiles forgetting of all the traffic dangers.
Gig economy - must put that in my dictionary! (Phil, sometimes you make me feel about 90!!) I like the focus on the man with the mobile and his total oblivion.
Lots of touches of turquoise here Phil! Equally shared out across the photo it's very nicely balanced. Lots to see but I have never heard of that restaurant chain.
The dof is just enough to bring the inevitable mobile gazer to prominence whilst still maintaining enough detail in the background to be interesting. Nicely balanced.
I wonder what the man next to the Delivero wheelie popper has spotted? Or should I say *who* he's spotted? I've a feeling it he's seen a photographer. ;-)

@quietpurplehaze tHaze, he gig economy, i was in effect part of it for 14 years working as an IT contractor for the same client... no sick pay, no pension, no holiday pay etc
