New Rolo Lady

We went to Nottingham today so I grabbed my camera bag to take with me.

I thought it had my Sony A6000 and 50mm prime lens in, but when I opened it is was my Samyang 12mm wide angle prime and not the 50mm prime.

I took some "urban street" photos and also photos of the little robin sculptures dotted around the city for summer 2018.

As I was photographing one of the robins I saw this young lady giving away free samples of "New Rolo" snacks

She gave me a couple of samples and as we exchanged a few words she said "I've just made your day"

I asked her for a quick photo and explained I might need to get quite close as it was a wide angle.

This was the net result, I've cropped a customer out of the frame , but I think the 12,, Samyang did quite a good job.

I would have been very pleased to see this scene, free Rolos & a smiley face plus a photo op!
Your lens made a great job of this scene, it would have been a shame to cut out the Rolo cart!!
