This is Anthony, who I met at the Heage Windmill, Derbyshire a couple of weeks ago when Arnold and District Camera Club visited the windmill on a night out (we live a rock and roll lifestyle - visits to windmills !! )
Anthony is a volunteer at the windmill and he is in period costume..
This is the first portrait I have done with my Samyang 12 mm lens, Shooting from a low position it was Ideal to get the sails and the windmill as a backdrop to Anthony.
Anthony lives a short walk down the hill in the village. He used to live in the Arnold / Woodthorpe area as a boy and told us how he used to play in the "Duck Park" as a youngster.
Anthony was a knowledgeable host .
The image was edited in Rawtherapee and GIMP. I think it makes a striking shot.
Thanks for being stranger number 141 Anthony.

@caterina thanks for the fave caterina, it has took me almost 3 years to get here :) ...that is almost a stranger a week though :)
@busylady thanks judith , windmills are hard to get right because there is always so much sky in the shot, which can fool the camera exposure settings :)
@beryl thanks beryl, we were there for nearly two hours , so it got a little difficult to be creative all that time :)
@kwind thanks the windmill was important in the storytelling
@ivan good shout about the neckerchief Ivan, I was tempted to do a mono but the red made me keep it as colour
