A new shop opened in Arnold this weekend, a continental delicatessen specialising in Polish foods.
The opening coincided with the Christmas market weekend, so it was a good opportunity for the shop to market itself to new customers.
Outside the shop I saw Lukasz, who was giving samples of cold meats to passers by. I thought Lukasz would make a great stranger so I explained my street photography portraits to him.
Lukasz agreed to be photographed, but told me to come back in five minutes when his boss would be there to man the stall while I photographed him.
I went off to meet my wife, she had nipped to the bank and by the time I'd done that Lukasz was ready for his photo.
I asked him to stand in the doorway / entrance to the shop as I saw some nice light and reflections in that area.
I rattled off a few photos, some at f5.6 and some at f3.5. This one is f3.5
I did a google on Lukasz apron and discovered it is an upmarket Polish confectionery business / brand. Lukasz's shop certainly had some excellent and tasty looking confectionery for sale.
After I'd took Lukasz's photo I offered him my hand at which point Lukasz took off his food serving blue latex gloves and shook my hand (good health and safety hygiene practice by Lukasz).
Lukasz also offered me a sample of cold meats, so I chose a pork Kabanos.
Thanks for being stranger 152 Lukasz, good luck with your new venture in Arnold
