Save some for me please (vintage lens)

Ruby is always a model when I test a vintage lens.

This is a Yashica 50mm ML f1.7 lens from the late 70's possibly early 80's .

It's done a good job with a wide open aperture. Ruby is oblivious to me and my camera as she is begging some food from Jane. A butter wouldn't melt look

I may have overdone the clarity slider a bit in Rawtherapee as there is possibly a bit of a halo on her right hand ear edge.

For the record Jane was eating Marks and Spencer mini flat jacks. No need to ask whether Ruby did too !!

Love her ears!

Today while walking along the promenade I saw two wippets - at least I am convinced they are. I felt like stopping the owners to ask them but I didn't. They immediately reminded me of you and Ruby. They are rare to see in Malta. Ruby is a fine example of these dogs and you got a fabulous capture of her.

Nothing wrong with sharpness of many of those old lenses.

Ever-hopeful! Love the expression, it would be very difficult to resist, I think, even after years of trying.
How old is Ruby, Phil? I guess you've mentioned her age before but I've either missed it or forgotten.
