Contre Jour Arnold (vintage lens)

This is a contre jour shot from just 10 days ago.

It was shot on a Sunday morning at about 11.40 am (the time is wrong on my camera) while taking Ruby on her second walk of the day !

This is Church Street just outside the town centre.

Contr jour light always creates lovely photos, more so when the floor is wet from overnight rain and ice.

This was a test shot using a vintage 50mm lens - Yashica 50mm ML f1.7 on my Sony A6000

DOn't you just love the red brake lights and traffice lights and the way the sun has caught the warm air puffing out of the pub central heating flue.

Being my own critique, I could argue that there is too much sky and I should have bobbed down a bit to get more of the light on the road, but then there is interest in the sky with the wires, poles and street lights
Great capture

Interesting capture on first glance I thought it was a shot from the states!
