Waiting For The Bus 1 (MIR-1 37mm f2.8 Vintage Lens)

I took my MIR-1 37mm F2.8 vintage lens on my Ruby walk today. The lens is from 1970.
These two elderly people were waiting for the bus. They are not in a bus shelter, they told me the bus shelter was too breezy. They are stood in the emergency exit doorway at the back of Wilko's in Arnold, Nottingham. They can see the "live updates" LED screen monitoring the bus arrival.

I asked them if I could photograph them, they didn't seem to bother at all as I manually focussed the Russian prime lens.

I was going to ask them to be strangers, but the conversation never got as far as a back story, so they just become two street people.

I was going to convert this to mono, but I really like how the colours of the clothes work well with the wall and doorway, so colour wins the day.

This was shot at f4 and I think the MIR-1 lens has done a half decent job

The MIR-1 looks like it could be a keeper
Ha ha !! was the bus late arriving !!
