Jaide in Red

This is my 5th image from the photoshoot I did at my friend Verity's studio back in November.

I think portraits / headshots are probably the genre of photography that I like best, although I like to think I can turn my hand to most genres.

I still prefer portraits on the streets to portraits in studios, but you can get excellent results using studio lights.

Jaide in Red , Sony A6000, Sony 50mm f1.8

A very nice portrait, the red on her top and her lipstick is a very attractive pop of color. I also prefer "close-ups" so headshots better than full bodies :-)

The side light really makes her skin glow. Beautiful!

nice sharp eyes! you do a good job oat both. I love a cross between the two. love the connection of street portraits and the help of artificial lighting or at lease window light I can manipulate. just wish I had more subjects!

Lovely portrait. The photoartist in me just wants to play with portraits which is why I am probably best not doing them! lol
