A photograph for the 52 week challenge, bucket list, and shot in B&W for the flash of red challenge.
The dream shot for this is a water crown and a water drop together. I didn’t get the dream shot; well I did, but not in the same photograph unfortunately.
To be fair, I’m actually quite pleased with the ones that I did get as I have done this in the most incredibly Heath Robinson way and with no flashgun.
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Missing this week's theme, mines a kingfisher and both poor weather and poor health precluded this. Good on you getting this. What's your setup? I'm intrigued
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - I taped a freezer bag to the cooker hood and filled it with water.
I put a baking tray on the cooker hob, put the crystal glass on the baking tray and filled it with water.
Then very lightly put a pin into the freezer bag so the water drips; too big a hole, it runs, so be careful.
Camera on tripod, manually focus on something that the water is dripping on (I used a pen)
Speed as fast as possible; ISO as high as possible, set camera to take multiple shots and I then connected to my phone to remotely trigger the camera and to avoid camera shake.
Then review the hundreds of photos you’ll have taken and hope you got what you were trying to get.
