Courts Garden by phil_sandford

Courts Garden

A day spent wandering around the NT Courts Garden just outside Bradford on Avon. A delightful NT property, only the garden is open to the public. It's modern, 1920s and was designed by the then owner of the house.

Spring is yet to fully spring here in the UK, but the weather is getting warmer and the nights are drawing out and the bulbs (Daffodils, Narcissi, Crocus etc) were in full flower as were some of the borders.

Not a clue what this delicate flower is, but it struck my fancy from all the photgraphs taken today.

I think it's a scilla. You've captured it really well. I love the blurry background.

@carole_sandford Yes, took a while. Didn't know if portrait or landscape was best? I knew I wanted the other flowers as bokeh and the top of the photo to be the crown of the main plant.
Seeing the photos now before taking them. This 365project thang appears to be learning me stuff. 😜😜
