Carole is out this afternoon, for an early Mothers Day high tea with our daughter and then off to see 'Beauty and the Beast' so I've been left home alone.
Gorgeous day, beautiful sunshine and not a breath of wind, so I've finally painted/stained the fence (which needed it so so badly)
I appear to have got more on myself than actually on the fence, so now to shower and then to find some sport on the TV.
Nice photo. Like the emphasis on the flowers in front of the fence.. Everyday, late afternoon, I go out in the nice light to look for a close up shot of a flower and daily the wind picks up making it difficult to get a sharp photo. But today, I had to spray the roses with some formula to try and keep the deer away so that I might get a flower or two to shoot before the deer eat up all of my bushes. They've already eaten a percentage and I haven't even had my first bloom yet. But wouldn't you know that today, when I am committed to spraying rather than photographing, there was not a lick of late afternoon wind here either. Hope you get to rest more tomorrow.
@johnsutton@beryl@boatman137@lynne5477@dawnee@paul10@elisasaeter@brennieb@milaniet Thank you for your views, comments and favs. @carole_sandford Nothing was stopping you from doing it missus @mbrutus Thank you. Where you live sounds divine. Having to spray roses to stop the deer coming, all we have is pesky squirrels (tree rats) that I've tried everything to stop. Can't spray the fence when there's a breeze, the stain is so fine it blows everywhere and gets onto the car the UPV of the conservatory. Thanks for your views and comments
