We went to a particular spot shopping our city's smaller (tributary) River, the Speed, to look for a particular bird. We did see it-- two of them actually, but they were very far out and even with my longest lens I couldn't get a very good shot of them. Instead I choose this photo of a lady kayaking because I liked how she's framed by the branches and I thought she had a nice look of quiet contemplation.
