wild emus before the storm

It still surprises me to see wild emus out in the fields. I was wanting to stop and catch the stormy skies anyway so double bonus with the emus!

Wide open field. It's interesting to see the cattle and the emus. I wonder how much closer they dare to get to each other. The storm clouds are certainly threatening.

Nice shot. I love seeing emus in the wild. We saw a group of about 10 of them while travelling near the Hay plains once and all of a sudden they decided to run. It looked so funny seeing them running in the wide open spaces. Like a horse race for emus.
