bushfire pano

This gives you an inkling of the extent of the fires. Even where you see green in the canopy, the undergrowth has burnt. It would be nice to think that the fires stopped at the lakes edge but you would see that they jumped the lake and burnt the other side.
isn't it incredible how far they can jump. Your image here shows an area which would be beautiful normally - so sad to see it burnt. :)

We can but hope that things regenerate quickly.

A tell tale image and important record for the future, even though it is heart breaking to see.

Striking image. I guess if the wind is strong enough in the right direction and the fire tall enough, it can jump pretty far indeed.

It’s amazing to me the leaves are still on the bush. In our forest fires we just have black tree trunks and limbs, leaves burned off.

That is sad to see. Excellent capture, though.

Great overview that you captured with a drone. This shows the extent of the fire damage that couldn’t be seen from the ground.

Wow. What an incredible shot. To even jump the lake gives an idea of the heat and power of the blazing inferno

Fabulous capture. The area of destruction is huge. Let's hope for a quick recovering.
