We spent last night in this heritage cottage in the local National Park with friends. It was apparently rebuilt after the 2003 fires and looks pretty accurate as a Pise construction, 3 bedrooms and a kitchen. Ideal and tranquil location so long as you don't mind the back to absolute basics living (no power, drinkable water etc). Just gorgeous, and just a tad COLD as we move towards Winter.
Expect to see lots of forest shots coming up...
Interesting construction process. Was this renovated or did it have to be rebuilt after the fires? I like the threatening skies and vivid yellow leaves on the tree beside the house.
