@maggie2 Looks like seaweed to me. Maybe the big balls are seedpods (if seaweed has such a thing..??!) ...of course, it's probably just some Oceanic Foo Foo!

This is seewwed , The/many dykes are made and coverd with rocks On this rocks grows seeweed , shells and mussels.
The balls are bulbs with air so that seeweed float in the water .

i really love this, could stare at it for ages, funny how you'd expect seaweed to look filthy but here it looks so clean and natural
