I like your variety and groups of pictures. I started following you during the flower theme and enjoyed the butterfly theme. Love the crops too. I have a great children's book called, "Tops and Bottoms" It deals with root vegetables. I may have to show the kids your onions and beets. Very nice! And yes, you have to have onions if you are going to cook!

Must be quite an experience to smell an onion field. Cutting onions does make me cry so I put them in the refrigerator first! I use more garlic and ginger than onions though. Great shot, Pyrrhula. 8)

Whenever I'm in the kitchen while my wife peels onions my eyes get so irritated and I have to leave. Beautiful capture, there are so many to gather.

Nice view of all the onions! I try to avoid cooking, but I find some onions make my eyes water straight away while others don't affect me at all.

I really like your title! And I agree, what would a kitchen be without onions? We use them all the time, mostly white but sometimes red.
I like the contrast in your shot between the brown onions and the spectacular billowing white clouds.
