Flower verge.

I could n`t find out what the purpose of this flower field is/was . I strongly guest it`s a flower verge. A strip of land between the road and the farmland for insects and tourism. The tourism I doubt , it`s a small road, ( on the left ) hard to find and it start in the middle of nowhere and ended in the nowhere of farmland
The pic is taken at the beginning of the flower verge. When I drive to the end of it and take the pic there you`ll have a similar view.
