Not one of my best pic. First I did n`t want it to share but Jennifer C ask me a pic of birds so here we are. ( As I don`t have a camera with a telescope I can`t capture birds very often close )
Our farmers don`t like this at all. The land is seeded (And it `s growing )with winter wheat and the birds are eaten it . But the farmers get a government compensate for it as they are not allowed to shoot the birds . The black tent ( on the right hand side )contains a cannonshot fire installation to case away the birds . Most of the birds are Crows and wild Gooses
Well the farmers may not like it but it seems to be exceedingly well organised to me: an installation to chase away birds as the farmers are not allowed to shoot them; the farmers are prohibited from shooting the birds but if the installation does not scare the birds and they eat the wheat the farmers get government compensation! I think it's called 'win-win'?! Your pic is a good image of cold cold winter!
no moaning here! thanks for taking a photo of Dutch birds, it's a great scene and capture. I'm glad the farmers can't shoot the birds but I also hope they get a good crop this season. thanks so much x
