Lovely shot with the contrast of the blue sky (we have one here this morning (Sat) and the rows of trees in the snow. I guess they have been pruned to be dwarf trees so it's easier to pick the fruit which could perhaps be apples or pears? (You have lots of us guessing!)

This is an apple orchard. As I have done it before I thought you know.
Those trees are grafted trees. We call this trees `` feet trunks `` because the graft is just by or above the ground, The trim is done for two reasons. For the picking and also only the good (much apple giving )branches to remain .

thank you - I thought probably apple and small for easy picking but have learnt about the most productive apple branches.
