I do this pic. to show how windmills are build if there are no hinders. The mill can be handle ( turn into the wind ad set sails on ) from the ground . The turning will be done by the turning the wheel and move the chain`s from pole to pole, as much as needed See pic. middle below . The whole head of the mill is turning. Setting sails by hand by climb into the vane. Two in this case. To work with the mill you need a wind-force from 4 to 7 Beaufort .
When the wind mill need to be higher you also need to make a balcony for this work , Like it`s to see in yesterday`s pic.
Another beautiful shot of a windmill - thanks! And thanks for the invitation. If I'm ever back in Europe I'd love to see these. However my son lived in Denmark for 3 years when i was over there in 1998. he is now back in Australia. Oh well, I might win tattslotto one day :)
@anazad511@kelly2@httpgeffed@777margo@ivan Thanks for the fav.`s Much appreciated @sangwann Windmills has to be keep in use. They get much worse from doing nothing then from milling. We try to keep them milling, mostly done by by volunteers.
