Typical : Zeeuws by pyrrhula

Typical : Zeeuws

The roads are typical but also the farm horses. They are well know and named : Het Zeeuwse trekpaard.
The tail is cut of in the past as it gives problems by plowing .
To day this is forbidden.
Nice shadows of the trees on the road.

Another great country scene! So pleased they are forbidden to cut the tails off now. This looks like the Clydesdale horse - that's what we call them here :)

Very pretty and serene- something about horses grazing is so peaceful. Lovely catch.

Another good illustration of how the hedges cut the road off from the fields. The horses in the field make for a pretty sight.

I love to see those huge horses, Pyrrhula though they are not bred in Malta. Beautifully composed shot showing the beauty of your country.

@pyrrhula Thank you so much for sharing that photo. They are so beautiful, huge and huge feet and so very healthy looking. Your photo is amazing from 2013. I can see how big they are here as well. It is so different there and things seem to be better and taken care of with pride.
My son contacted me this morning to let me know he is sick and may not make it here today to get my photos onto my/his laptop computer. I will ask if I can put my SD card photos sitting in my camera onto his laptop so I have something to work with.

What a beautiful pasture scene! How sad that anyone should maime a horse to make ploughing convenient. Such beautiful, sturdy beasts! This is a beautiful and I'm glad man now has a better understanding of these lovely creatures!
