Those hedges are typical for the roads on this part of the country.( A former island)

I love that area and those roads so I came back last Sunday to do some more pic.`s of it.
@brillomick they are planted to fit the road @beryl most of our roads are strait as a line. @777margo I do not think so. Once or maybe twice a year. The people in this area are well know for there frugality @sangwann it makes me drive slow and safety.

I went back to your other picture of last year and re-read the history and was very impressed again, especially how well they trim the road in this picture. I love curvy roads. a nice Sunday right down it would be really nice. fav.
This must be the entrance to the beautiful road lined with these hedges! I would find myself curious to see what was on the other side! I do understand what a good natural barrier this is for keeping animals in their own pastures!
