The houses are very small. I think most of our/your living rooms are bigger than the whole house in a hofje. In those day`s this was normal for the common people. I`ve seen old pic.`s of it where there lived a whole family in it , often with many children The wide is the door and one window. This very kind and pretty young Lady ( Student on the mode university) was so kind to show me around in the house she lives in.
P.s. I`ve warned her she got on 365 and become`s world famous, she did n`t care.
