From Wikipedia :
The Waag ("weigh house") is a 15th-century building on Nieuwmarkt square in Amsterdam. It was originally a city gate and part of the walls of Amsterdam.
The Waag is the oldest remaining non-religious building in Amsterdam.The building has held national monument status since 1970.
The Waag is depicted in Rembrandt's 1632 painting The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp. The surgeons' guild commissioned this painting for their guildhall in the Waag.;
This is a great photo. Sorry about your photos. I have had the same happen. Night shots are the most difficult for me. I have a setting to change the ISO and hold steady or use a tripod lets more light in. Hope you understand what I am saying. Will see if I can tell if your camera does this.
Nice photo. One of the musts I found is a tripod. Selecting Manual mode worked for me. But night photos is tricky. I like this one. Beautiful reflections.
This is beautiful. I love the lighting on it, and the building is so special. Fav! Thanks for your visits to my project also, and your comments and favs. I love seeing other places in your photos.
