Wie het kleine niet eert, is het grote niet weerd by pyrrhula

Wie het kleine niet eert, is het grote niet weerd

Etymology.
Literally: “Who does not honour small things, is not worthy of great things.” The word weerd is a southern Dutch variant of waard (“worth”). Compare the similar German proverb wer den Pfennig nicht ehrt, ist des Talers nicht wert (“who does not honour the penny, is not worthy of the dollar”).

Even the small fields have something to contribute- and just as many photo opportunities! I like the little pops of color from the flowers- and they're just as delightful in a small field as they are in a large one. Good shot!
