I can think of sayings: 'Laughter is the best medicine' or 'He who laughs last, laughs longest.'
And if laughter was a colour I personally think it would be yellow! So here's the mahonia down by the stream in our garden which is bursting into bright flower just as the other shrubs and trees are shutting down for the winter.
I know this type of Mahonia , we have them in a public garden in our street.

What a lovely interpretation of the word today. I agree that yellow is such a sunny happy colour. it was always a favourite colour for me when I was a child and I still like it. I recently bought a yellow shirt and I love it
