We had a trip to the arboretum today. The irises and camellias were especially lovely and I hope to post a few more of the 225 pics I took (not all flowers, I hasten to add!)
What an unusual iris, great detail and dof. I always take loads because my eyesight isn't brilliant and I can't really see what I've taken until I upload them, the beauty of digital!!

@quietpurplehaze Thank you. This week is a very busy week at work and I had a long day today, in addition it was so hot the last few days up to 37° and think thats too hot, but whil I'm typing there is a big thunderstorm outside and temperatures are cooler tomorrow accordingto forecast
This is especially lovely. I can really relate to your 225 pix-- I took 700 pictures on our Russia trip! It's that it doesn't cost film and developing anymore, and if you take 5 or 6 shots of the same thing, you stand a better chance of liking one.
And sometimes the ones you think are brilliant on the LCD screen are not and vice versa!
