sunlight on glass

I was drinking the first cup of tea of the day this morning when I noticed the sunlight streaming through a gap in the curtains on to a vase in the corner. So I had a try at capturing it on camera. The vase has gold twigs in it and in the foreground are some chunks of amethyst.
