This 'water sculpture' in Salisbury Cathedral by William Pye was consecrated in 2008. It's the largest font I've ever seen: Ray estimated around 2m at the widest point.
It's an irregular diamond shape and at each of the four points water falls from the font. Two little visitors to the cathedral gave me the ripples when they put their hands under the falling streams of water.
Ray checked online and the cathedral website gives the measurement as 3 metres, thus large enough for total immersion baptism.
