I wonder if your reaction on seeing this photo is the same as my reaction on taking it. If this plant survives the onslaught it will flower into some photogenic cow parsley. I was over the fields again, of course.
Has to make : Nettle Slurry is a fermented extract of nettle leaves and stalks which is useful in the organic garden . It contains nitrogen and minerals and promotes soil life and stimulates the growth of the plants. A unfermented infusion of nettles can aphids and other sucking expel harmful animals. is my first thought. and something against the ants as they are often not far .
A great and beautiful close up shot.
Thanks dear Hazel for you visits, the nice comments and the fav. I found this year three fields of those white poppies. Two near each other, one far from it on an other island. Only two red ones
Aphids! Yuck!! But yes, better on a wild flower I suppose than in someone's rose garden. Now if the Ladybugs knew they were there this plant would be home-free! Great close-up! It makes me itchy!!
My first thought was ... ewwwwwwwww and then ... that's pretty cool!! I hate those aphids!! They are so destructive and always so many at one time!! Love the details and lighting and the fuzzies on the plant!! Actually a great photo!! FAV!
A great and beautiful close up shot.
