Ray said he felt 'funny' so I suggested he sit down. Which he did. And then I couldn't resist taking his photo. Behind him is a glimpse of the wooden step ladder which goes up to a trapdoor in the floor of the belfry.
Cherrill, I only ever tell the truth!! Ray's weekly physical activities are : 66 lengths of the pool 2, or sometimes 3, times per week; a ramble of + or - 6 miles once a week; topped up with a few hours of tennis and some Jinkswalks. (I'm beginning to wish I'd not posted this shot - I shall be getting into trouble!!!!!!)
Great portrait! I believe you too on the health front. My husband Jeff is in great shape but if he doesn't eat lunch while on the job he'll come home and say, "Boy do I feel light-headed". I understand the vertigo though. I can get butterflies in my stomach just looking at a picture taken looking over a high railing. I don't have to be there! Good shot!
I'd better set the record straight on Ray's behalf! He's really fit but gets vertigo in situations involving heights/looking down. Thanks for visits.

Heather, I shan't show him your comment!!!
nice portrait hazel.
nice mono conversion hazel :)
How brave of him to climb up high when he has vertigo. Hope he recovered soon.
It sometimes happens to me on 365 that I find it hard to look at a 'vertiginous' shot!
