a Sussex vineyard

On our way home from a few days in Littlehampton, we stopped to have a look at the re-discovered Roman villa at Bignor. I must admit that the photographic opportunities in the grounds drew me more - including this adjacent vineyard stretching away in the September sun.

vineyards in the UK are becoming quite popular, dry and crispy whites I think, now if only they could create a nice full bodied rioja style red or a oaky spicy Carménère :) .
